Women’s Fall Retreat
Like Mother Earth, you are the nurturer, creator, lover, and caretaker - the giver of life. But one must remember that life can only be born from life itself. So we're taking time to water our own seeds. This cozy mountain retreat will be dedicated to renewal: rejuvenation of the physical body and reconnection to the subtle body. With an intention of self-love, we’ll practice yogic rituals for everyday care and hold ceremony to honor the Divine Feminine. A beautiful teacher once told me, “Ritual is how we get through the day. Ceremony is how we get through life.” Paired with sisterhood, it’s how we blossom.

RETREAT INTENTION: self-love

PRIMARY CHAKRAS: root + heart

NATURAL ELEMENT/QUALITY: earth/structure

three (3) nights accommodation

There’s no better time to be in Lake Arrowhead than crisp, cozy October. Our dreamy cabin has expansive lake views from every room. We’ll balance indoor workshop time with outdoor yoga time, for a balanced weekend of rest and play.

seven (7) plant-based meals

The first order of business when renewing our prana, our life force energy, is to focus on what we’re putting in our bodies. We can only go as far as the fuel in the tank sustains. So all of our meals will be Ayurveda-inspired: colorful, plant-based, and incorporating the six tastes: sweet, salty, bitter, astringent, pungent, sour.

five (5) yoga classes

With the Root + Heart chakras as our primary focus, we’ll use the yoga practice to ground the physical body, restore the nervous system, and open our bridge between the material and spiritual planes.
Friday:
- Root: Grounding Hatha Flow

- Heart: Gentle Heart Openers + Guided Meditation

Saturday:

- Root: Yin Yoga with Acupressure (self-administered with props)
- Heart: Backbend-Infused Flow

Sunday:

- Root + Heart: Yoga for Circulation and Heart Health

Ayurvedic Dinacharya

On Saturday morning, we will walk through a traditional Ayurvedic morning routine, also known as Dinacharya, intended to balance the body + mind. Our itinerary will look something like this:

  1. Early Wake-Up

  2. Body + Mind Scan

  3. Oil Pulling

  4. Morning Meditation

  5. Morning Tea

  6. 10 Sun Salutations

  7. Abhyanga (Oil-Massage)

  8. Showers

  9. Breakfast

Earth-inspired creative hour

Mother Earth gives us everything we need. From her, we can create new life. So we’re going to play with spices + herbs + plants to make our own paints and use natural materials to apply color to canvas. It’s not about perfection, it’s about connection.

Wild Women Book Club

Upon registration, you’ll be sent a copy of the book Women Who Run with the Wolves - it’s a series of stories and myths that depicts the wild feminine nature and sparks curiosity. For the sake of the retreat, you’ll be asked to only read the introduction (you can read more if you want!). So we can spend Friday evening cozied up by the fire, with snacks and hot cider, to explore this life-giving theme.

heart opening tea ceremony + card reading

Saturday night is dedicated to celebrating the Divine Feminine through creativity, indulgence, and intuition. It’s a chance to receive guidance and offerings, with a full and open heart.

A: Yes! All meals are included, except for Thursday night. Please, eat before you check-in.
