The parallels between love and surfing are endless. We’re going to explore this theme thoroughly, beginning with devotion to the sport and then integrating its wisdom into something much bigger. This all-women’s retreat is for the trailblazers - those who are guided by their hearts into uncharted territories, fueled by grit and passion and resilience. We’re pushing our bodies and spirits all the way to the limit. So we can see just how limitless we really are.

Our favorite surf villas in the heart of Nosara are waiting for us. We have multiple of these side-by-side, giving everyone SO MUCH SPACE to bathe in luxury and bask in the sun.

Five (5) Hours of Asana + Three (3) Specialty Workshops

Dividing our time between surfing and yoga, we’ll spend just five hours in this gorgeous jungle studio. And dive into these thematic workshops in the villas:

  • Heart Chakra: Love and Surfing

  • Aparigraha: The Beauty of Baseline

  • Devotion + Dharana: Single-Pointed Focus

Daily brunch + Dinner

Everything in Nosara is vibrant, healthy, and locally sourced. We’ll have brunch in one of the amazing jungle cafes, walking distance to our villa. And dinners will be prepared by a private chef.

two (2) surf lessons + weeklong board rental

Two (2) morning surf lessons will be included, for all-levels of surfers. You’ll also keep your board so you can paddle out anytime! I foresee many sunset party waves in our future.

*No surfing experience necessary, although strong physical fitness is helpful to get the most out of your experience.

A videographer will be there to capture some of your waves, so that we can play it back for review and you can take the memories home with you!

Pink Sand Island boat trip

Our local crew is awaiting our annual arrival. We’ve been going to Nosara for years and have the coolest ocean guides for our sunset sail. This trip includes a coastal cruise, a swim around Pink Sand Island, and (hopefully) incredible wildlife encounters - quintessential Costa Rica. Drinks, coconuts, and fresh fruit included. Salud!

There’s nothing better than jumping off of a boat into the open ocean, and paddling right into a secret lineup. This is where surfer girl dreams are made.

Our favorite spot for dinner is in the quiet cove of Playa Pelada. There's no better place to watch the sunset or celebrate an epic week of life-changing adventures.

Q: What time is check in?
A: You can arrive at our villas any time after 4pm on May 5.

Q: Is Costa Rica safe?
A: The safest! As a solo female traveler, this is something I take very seriously, too. Costa Rica is so safe, in fact, they’re one of the few countries without a military. Just follow standard safety protocol while traveling anywhere and you’ll be good!

Q: I’m nervous about getting to the destination alone. Can you help me?
A: Of course! Before the retreat, I will send all of my suggestions for transportation services, including private shuttle options. I will also share with the group when everyone else lands, in case you want to coordinate travel together. Plus, I’ll be on standby at the destination, awaiting your arrival!

Q: Should I bring cash?
A: Most places accept card now in Costa Rica but please bring cash for your airport shuttle driver and maybe some beachside coconuts. They take USD.
